Hrithik and Deepika’s film has grossed over Rs 150 crore on its ninth day of release.

Fighter,” had a strong start at the box office, entering the Rs 150 crore club in India. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, faced a 10 percent decrease in earnings on its ninth day, with a collection of Rs 5.35 crore. Despite this, Fighter maintained an overall 13.59 percent Hindi occupancy on Friday, bringing the total collection to Rs 151.85 crore.

The movie had a promising opening before the extended weekend of Republic Day, earning Rs 39.50 crore on the holiday. However, it experienced a significant drop of almost 70 percent on the first Monday, collecting Rs 8 crore. This decline suggests that the film struggled to sustain its initial momentum after the weekend.

Despite the domestic fluctuations, the makers announced that Fighter has grossed Rs 250 crores worldwide. The film’s performance in the global market contributes to its overall success, even if it faced challenges in maintaining its box office numbers locally.

Fighter Movies in Indian

The collaboration between Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan has previously resulted in successful films like “War” and “Bang Bang.” “War” garnered an impressive Rs 318 crore in India, while “Bang Bang” made Rs 181 crore. Considering these past successes, there is anticipation to see if “Fighter” can surpass these numbers at the box office.

Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, “Fighter” features a notable ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Talat Aziz, and Pradum Shukla in pivotal roles.

However, it’s worth noting that despite the star-studded cast and the previous success of the director-actor duo, “Fighter” faced challenges, including a reported ban in all Gulf countries during its second screening. The decision for the ban could impact the film’s overall international box office performance. Additionally, the submission of a re-edited version by the producers suggests efforts to address certain concerns or objections that may have led to the ban. The film’s future performance will depend on how well it can recover from these setbacks and whether it can match or surpass the success of Siddharth Anand and Hrithik Roshan’s previous collaborations.
